YAKIMA, Wash.-- Yakima firefighters had their hands full fighting a brush and debris fire in town Monday.
It started around 1pm on the 2,100 block of Englewood Avenue. Crews say a father and son were working on their truck when they heard a pop and saw flames.
The fire quickly spread to nearby brush, debris and several other cars.
The father sustained burns and was transported to a local hospital. His condition is not yet known.
