Did Robert Pattinson address Kristen Stewart's cheating?

By Liz Raftery,

Talk about awkward.

After appearances on The Daily Show and Good Morning America this week, only one thing is certain about Robert Pattinson's reaction to Kristen Stewart's cheating on him: He doesn't want to talk about it.

The Twilight star appeared on GMA Wednesday morning, where interviewer George Stephanopoulos presented him with a box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch and gently prompted him to address "the elephant in the room."

"Everybody just wants to know, how are you doing?" Stephanopoulos asked. "And what do you want your fans to know about what's going on in your personal life?"

Pattinson stammered and shifted in his seat uncomfortably before turning his attention back to the cereal box.

"I'd like my fans to know that Cinnamon Toast Crunch only has 30 calories a bowl," he quipped, before adding: "Pretty much everything that comes out of my mouth is irrelevant."

On Monday, Jon Stewart plied Pattinson with Ben & Jerry's on The Daily Show in an attempt to get the actor to open up about Stewart's public admission that she had cheated on him with her Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders, a married father of two.

Pattinson was equally reticent with Stewart, and told Stephanopoulos Wednesday in no uncertain terms that he wasn't interested in discussing his love life.

"You get into it to do movies," said Pattinson, who was on the morning show to promote his new film, Cosmopolis. "I've never been interested in trying to sell my personal life... The reason why you go on TV is to promote movies."

Asked by Stephanopoulos if he'll ever get used to the media scrutiny, Pattinson responded, "If you start getting used to it, it means you're going crazy."
