Sandra Bullock Leads Oscar's Best Dressed

MYFOX NATIONAL - Though she didn’t predict her win for Best Actress earlier Sunday night on the Oscars red carpet, the shiny statuette was the perfect accessory for Sandra Bullock’s stunning gold and silver Marchesa gown with a long train.

According to InStyle.com , “The Blind Side” star commented on her biggest fashion fear of the night – her towering stilettos: "If I step up on that stage tonight, I just don't want these heels to pull this body down!"

Bullock did triumphed to win the Best Actress Oscar at the 82nd Academy Awards at the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles Sunday.

"Did I really earn this or did I just wear y'all down?" Bullock asked after taking the stage to a standing ovation.

Letting her hair down, Bullock set the metallic trend – with Patricia Field telling the New York Times it was “simple” yet “classy” – for the evening with many fellow red carpet beauties following suit.

Though Kate Winslet wasn’t up for an award this year, the “Titanic” actress was a winner in a shimmering strapless Atelier Yves Saint Laurent bustier floor-length number.

Zoe Saldana wore a unique Oscar-worthy off the runway Givenchy couture dress, rocking both the metallic and “Avatar” blue trend with a combined sparkling bronze bodice and a purple tulle skirt with a daring front slit.

“Crazy Heart” nominee Maggie Gyllenhaal was similarly fashion forward in a Dries Van Noten blue and lavender satin column dress, which was first seen a few days ago on the catwalk at Paris Fashion Week.

Also nominated in the best supporting actress category, MoNique was elegant in an electric blue ruched Tadashi Shoji affair with gardenias in her up-swept hair.

Presenter Jennifer Lopez, who made People.com’s best dressed list, was gorgeous as always in a dramatic pink silk organza Armani Prive Spring 2010 mermaid gown teamed with Cartier jewels.

And Charlize Theron showed off her assets in a curve-grabbing Dior gown, while Anna Kendrick Tweeted that her nude-tone Elie Saab number was “a last minute decision.”

Classic beauty Diane Kruger, who stars in “Inglourious Basterds,” was feminine in top-to-toe signature black and cream Chanel.

Veteran Oscar-winner Meryl Streep was sultry in Chris March’s flattering white draped dress with a plunging neckline.
